Here's another in the series of watercolors by the unnamed Daughters of Bishop Parr, and yes, there's another woman industriously writing away with a long pen in hand, her narrow desk or table almost entirely filled by the oversized inkstand, while her sister or friend reads, ankles neatly crossed. In the next room, two gentlemen play chess while another watches.
