B “Florida Independent Blues” and was presented to the unit by the Ladies of St. Augustine, FL, 1861. Flag of the 15th Northwest Arkansas Infantry Regiment. One of three Arkansas regiments designated 15th, this small unit added the word "Northwest" to distinguish itself from the others. It's colors were captured in fierce fighting on on May 1,1863 at Port Gibson, Mississippi, by Private Amos Nagle of the 18th Illinois Infantry.

Hempstead Rifles Flag.  The company known as the “Hempstead Rifles” was raised in Hempstead County, Arkansas in May 1861. Although they were enlisted for only three months, the company engaged in the Battle of Wilson’s Creek on August 10, 1861. Returning to Arkansas, the company was mustered out of service on September 17, 1861, with the majority of the troops enlisting in regular Confederate units. Vintage Flag
