We bought this splendid necklace from Linda Pastorino in - I think - 2012, then thinking (all three of us: Linda, Truus and I) that it came from Sri Lanka, but subsequently Linda has also thought of it as possibly South Indian, which would certainly be possible. Largely a matter of academic interest, as the overlap is great anyway. A wonderful piece ... Indeed, looking at this now, I realise how much harder it has become to buy pieces of this quality even since 2012.
