Jesus. This is a commanding portrait of Jesus, using light on his face and in his eyes to draw us in. When we look beyond the face, however, we can see a figure on a donkey, whose clothing is formed from the portrait’s beard and whose left arm and head are formed from his nose. Surrounding the figure is a crowd, their heads covered, and perspective is used on the crowd, through the hair texture.
