Hagia Sophia is located in Istanbul, Turkey and is one of the most important monumental structure of art history and architectural world. Hagia means "Holy" and Sophia means "Wisdom".  The church was built between 532 and 537. The interior of the church is magnificent and fascinating and resembles a palace with it is mosaics, motifs, gilded walls. The church was closed to the public for many years until 1935 when the first Turkish President transformed the building into a museum.
