The U.S. has a lot of important features - some natural and some man-made, that students will often get confused. A fun activity that will help students distinguish between these features is creating a collage. Students will create a split collage, designating one side for physical features, such as the Atlantic Coastal Plain, and the other side for man-made features, such as Boston, MA. Students will research and gather images, and should include a description of why the feature is important.
