SS Indian City built by Bartram & Sons, South Dock sunderland for Reardon Smith & completed in '44. 7,079GRT, length 447ft & beam 56.5ft. Part of the supply lines to Normandy during June to August '44. '57 sold to to Atlantska Plovidba DD, of Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia, & renamed Gruz. '69 sold to 69, to  Aurora Borealis Shipping Co. Ltd., of Famagusta, Cyprus, & renamed Diamondo. 25/4/72 arrived Gebe, Turkey for scrapping.

REARDON SMITH LINE, Cardiff - Paul Johnson

1944 to 1957 - INDIAN CITY - Cargo - 7079GRT/10319DWT - 136.2 x 17.2 - 1944 Bartram & Sons, South Dock, No.299 - 1957 GRUZ, 1969 DIAMANDO - 04/72 broken up at Gebze.

MV English Prince built by Wm Doxford & Sons for Prince Line & completed 04/43. 7,275GRT, length 443ft, beam 56.5ft. She was sailing independent in the Indian Ocean for extended periods in '43 & '44  & was in Australian waters in late '45 .'53 chartered to Shaw Saville & Albion(retained Prince livery). '57 back to Prince Line. '61 sold to amanda Shipping, Monrovia & renamed MV Simos. 22/07/72 ran aground near Cape St Vincent. Refloated but condemned. Scrapped at Bilboa in '73
