Most of the time, I choose some cartoon characters (the more challenging the better), and I recreate them as modern-day humans!

In addition to my day job and freelance work, I've also been asked to teach a course on basic concept drawing for the Industrial Design program at the University of Alberta this fall which isn't leaving me with a lot of "me time" but I thought I'd start a thread instead of just hiding out in the doodle thread.
