art unit -- LINE -- Students are introduced to the line work of Van Gogh, Durer & Rembrandt and various other line techniques. Students create their own line drawing that shows shape, texture and tone.

Drawings covering many different styles and techniques. Alfred Basha brings more to his images, rather than just a well executed drawing. There is a lot of meaning behind some of these illustrations, which are steeped in surrealism. So pay attention to the title, where you can get some indications, as to what the inspiration and the symbology behind a given drawing is. That said, some are art, for art's sake.
