Leyland ( Scammell) were quick off the mark with a solution to the increase in GCW to 38000kg. This was a "twin-steered" design that owed a lot to the previous Trunker models from Scammell. Alas! this was soon followed by the "continentals" and beset by political interference sadly Leyland Trucks withered and almost died.......only the factory survives building DAF products for the Paccar organisation.

This quirky looking bus is nice to travel on and sounds really good too!
