1956 Catalina Swimsuits Vintage Ad - Retro 1950s Inspired Decor - Howard Johnson's Restaurants Ad - 50s Kitchen Decor - Retro Ads

Vintage 1956 Catalina Swimsuits advertisement. On the boardwalk or wherever you are, put a stop to those rumors! Come right out and admit you're in love in Catalina's matched swimsuits for sweethearts. Very fun. The reverse side is an excellent Howard Johnson's ad. It's so colorful and cute. I had to pick a side to display, but this is just as cute as the Catalina side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DETAILS: Published in May, 1956, this vintage Catalina beach apparel ad measures 10 x 13.35”. The colors are so bright and fun against on tanned paper. There's a tiny paperclip press mark in the top center (cover with a frame). You can hide faint print from the other side with black paper as I did for the photos here. This fun vintage advertising art would add a retro 50s vibe to your bathroom or living room decor. Display on its own or with other prints for a midcentury inspired gallery wall (in a hallway or even along a stairway). Packaged in a clear archival poly sleeve with a crisp, white acid-free backing board, your vintage print will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail in a heavy flat photo mailer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TIPS: Browse more great vintage ad art and retro home decor ideas here in my shop: https://etsy.com/shop/RetroReveries. Vintage advertising is fun because of the nostalgic factor, but it's also helpful for recreating a particular decorating style or aesthetic.  Most people frame the ads to further set the tone for their decor, remember someone special, or tell a story.  And they are super affordable, so you can swap out seasonally without breaking the bank. Kiss the Past Hello - 100 Years of Coca Cola Ads

One of the most famous and unmistakable shapes in the world since its introduction in 1915, the Coca-Cola bottle is an influential symbol of design, art, and culture. Identified by its iconic contour fluted lines and described by noted industrial designer, Raymond Loewy as the “perfect liquid wrapper,” the bottle has been celebrated and revered in such mediums as art, music and advertising. From representations as a symbol of mass culture expressed by greats like Andy Warhol and Clive Barker to serving as a reference point for industry influencers such as Volkswagen who compared the shape of the Beetle to the bottle, the Coca-Cola bottle has been a benchmark for the past hundred years. What began as a design brief: to create a bottle that could be identified in the dark or lying broken on the ground, today is one of the most recognized packages on the planet. Published on the occasion of the bottle’s centennial, Kiss the Past Hello is a vibrant collection of images and art celebrating the Coca-Cola bottle not only as an icon of design but as a symbol of optimism, happiness, and the shared moments in our lives. 144 pages English language W 8.77 x L 12.2 x D 0.78 in Hardcover with Jacket
