11 Teacher-Tested Ways to Make Your Classroom Parents Adore You
I pinned this for Task #7 because I love the idea of sending home notes or calling parents when their child is doing something well. Especially for parents who receive negative phone calls all too often, it is great for them to be reminded when their child does something positive.
No Homework Binder
Students have to write in a log every time they do not turn in their homework on time and explain themselves. This helps teachers keep track of how many times the same student does not do his/her homework, makes students think about why they did not do their homework, and establishes accountability.
Homophones - Escape Room - Middle School English
This Hompphones Escape room is great for beginning of the year review and pre-assessment. It is also great for the end of the year review before and after state tests. Students will need to access a google form, so ANY technology that allows them to access and complete a google form will work! There are 4 stations they must complete to escape.
Brag Bracelets - Ink Friendly Black and White
Brag Bracelets are an awesome classroom management tool and have been super popular in my classroom. Students work hard to earn them and are super excited when they receive one! I particularly love the fact that students get to take them home which helps to create a positive teacher/parent communication channel. This pack includes 24 different BLACK AND WHITE brags bracelets to use for multiple occasions. I print them on bright colored paper and they look super cute!!!
