A fragile species, mentioned in ancient Chinese texts 3000 years ago, the panda reigns majestically over Han Meilin’s artistic repertoire
The Chinese artist marvels at the world through the eyes of a child. He draws his inspiration from a solid grounding in traditional Chinese culture.
There is a sense of tenderness that emanates from his rounded, mischievous figures. He captures a moment of life in the wild, a grooming gesture or a frolic on the ground.

The sculpture 'Untitled' in Lalique clear crystal by renowned artist Anish Kapoor at the prestigious international contemporary art fair FIAC, in Paris.
A piece created in 2016, 'Untitled' is a work characterised by curves and arabesques balanced like a jewel in the middle of a majestic perplex plaque. The work reflects Anish Kapoor's taste for monumental pieces, a taste that encouraged Lalique to push the properties of crystal to the limit. Almost two years of preparation and numerous tests were required to create this crystal piece. ©Anish Kapoor and Lalique, 2018
