Palazzo Colonna, Rome: Palazzo Colonna has existed since the 14th century. In the 16th and 17th centuries it was renovated into one of the greatest Baroque Palaces of the world. Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the most accomplished artist of Rome’s Baroque period was responsible for much of the design. The Palazzo Colonna is still owned and maintained by the Colonna family.
