She turned the air conditioner on high, left her clothes strewn across the hallway and down the stairs. She opened the windows, took all of the food out of the refrigerator and left the televisions blaring episodes of sitcom reruns. The milk spoiled. She broke the remaining four eggs on the kitchen floor.
