The 28 Shop at Marshall Field and Co, in Chicago, hatbox from early unknown year, after shop opened in 1941. The shop was named for the special entrance at 28 E. Washington, the north edge of the block long store. It had it's own doorman, with direct elevator to the shop. There were 28 dressing rooms. The shop still exists in the currently named Macy's store, with lovely designer clothing, tho sadly, no hats to be seen.
