Shawl, cape, shield port cap and a bit of my dress for the cold events.

Viking ensemble with an excellent hood and caftan. I like the jacket idea for Sammie's Viking ensemble.

Anglo-Saxon England 449 to 1066 AD - The tunic ended between the hip and the knee and had either long or short sleeves. Clasps were not needed to hold the tunic together because when pulled over the head it would sit snugly around the neck without the use of lacing or ties, indicating that the garment was one continuous piece. A belt or girdle was usually worn with the tunic and might have had a buckle, and, as Owen-Crocker states, “pouched over the belt”.[8]

Very authentic looking reproduction of an early medieval woman's outfit with an underdress and tunic with a broad, circular neckline. Ornamentation is spare, but the variation in color makes for an appealing look.

Middle Saxon Woman - During the 6th century there was an influx of Christian missionaries to this country. The 'tube' dress was discarded and sleeved garments became common. Head-wear was also introduced. The fashion for hanging items off the belt is still very much in evidence. The individual depicted here is of reasonable status - not high ranking, but not poor either. This is indicated by the color of her clothing, jewellery

"Middle Saxon Woman - A simple costume,in natural colours, accentuated with jewellery. ~ Lots of early-period outfits on this site based on finds in Britain." This is a pretty basic costume for a female character from the Anglo-Saxon culture.
