This is a fun layered haircut with feathered curtain bangs and connected layers throughout. We use a Joico demi-permanent 9N with a splash of 9 RO gloss to her new growth (to cover grays) and comb through towards the mid shaft after 20 minutes process time.🙂
Our client had very coarse and thick hair. Additionally, it is very sensitive to lifting methods (bleach) even with the help of K 18 hair mask; therefore, we carefully place super skinny highlights around her face/crown for a sunny pop of color and leave the majority of her hair level 6.5 brown (her natural base color is 4.5-very dark brown). Regarding haircut, we thinned her hair about 20% as it was too heavy for her and connected layers.

Client had previous blonde balayage grown out over a year and needed a touch up. Placed babylights around face, neckline, and crown. Finally, we pulled a few hand painted balayage highlights towards the ends for a fresh, sun bleached appearance. Although it’s winter 🥶 right now… it’s a sunny, surfer head of hair. 🏄‍♀️ 🌞

My client has lots of very fine hair and loves to keep her shoulder length hair layered and lightened. We begin with the color which is Joico demi permanent 8NA/10N & 5 Volume applied to her new growth. This stains her salt and pepper hair to dimensional blonde perfection and kisses those pesky grays oh so gently. I add babylights up front, apply a handful of hand painted bleached pieces along her part, and lighten her ends. She LOVES her short bangs and connected layers!
We did a full blonde color today consisting of 3 different highlighting techniques. We’ve done a few partials on her before this meeting and her ends in the back needed to be lifted a bit - balayage applies there. The middle section consisted of teasy lights. The crown was baby fine slices. The hair in between foils was also lifted a level which resulted in a beachy blonde look.

This is an existing client who came in for a quick bang trim. She likes a deep curtain bang, resting just below the eyes, and wants it feathered (as opposed to a sharp line). To cut her bangs, I just put her hair in a ponytail and focus on just the bangs when doing a bang trim - takes about 2 to 3 minutes - and this gives the client a freshened look and more time in between their scheduled haircuts!💃 Dream Hair, Ponytail, Haircuts, Focus
