How working with absolute strangers skyrocketed my productivity
I’ve been ‘working from anywhere’ for close to 10 years now. When I left my corporate job to launch my coaching practice, I worked from cafes, co-working spaces, my home, clients’ offices and the homes of co-workers. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed location-independent work. Quite by chance, during the pandemic I found an incredible tool. It got me to work with a bunch of strangers and skyrocket my productivity. (Psst! It’s introvert-friendly too!) I write about this tool in my new blog post.

One things I learnt in the last 10 years
One thing that stood out for me in the last 10 years. Going slow IS going fast When you take time to slow down, you’re able to listen. You’re likely to tap into the intelligence of your intuition & make wiser decisions. I slowed down in the last decade. Doing that was excruciatingly difficult in a work culture that glorifies hustling. But, with practice, it’s now easier. The rewards are encouraging. I’m able to do more with less time & effort.
Happy World Introvert Day (& Happy New Year!) Even though I may come across as a social person, I’m an absolute introvert. There are advantages to being one - it makes me a naturally empathic & observant creator. It’s easy to ideate, imagine and create - be it content, businesses, programmes or websites. The downside is I get easily drained in noisy & crowded places. Too much people interaction can exhaust me. I need to spend time in solitude & nature to recharge.
Winter is a time to rest, reflect and rejuvenate. As an introvert I replenish myself the best in solitude. I’ll be hibernating from social media this winter. I would love to go inward and review how the year has been. I’d like to absorb the lessons I’ve learnt this year. I’d also like to pen what I’d love to create in the coming year. What are your plans for this winter season? See you in the new year!
