Financial literacy is fun and super important to teach! This bundle includes a variety of activities for teaching students how to tip after a meal to filing income taxes to balancing a checkbook. The activities included here will strengthen student understanding of finances and how to work with percentages. Please see "print and digital" next to the activities that include both printable and digital versions in their files. The digital versions were built in Google Slides or Google Forms.

I love teaching financial literacy in my consumer math class to prepare my students for their futures. There are a bunch of financial literacy activities and ideas in this post as well as a free scavenger hunt activity for percents.

Students "shop" through the grocery store finding price discounts and final sale prices in this digital GOOGLE Forms activity. There are 20 grocery store items all marked down! Students record in their Google Form how much they saved and paid given the price and % discount shown on each sale tag. The Form is editable so you can shorten the activity if you think it is too long. Just delete sections of the Form (directions to do this are included). This is a digital only activity.
