Like the real boat, this extremely tiny model is lapstrake built with all the little details of the real deal! It will be placed inside a bottle with two other sailing boats as a regatta diorama. The USS Bonhomme Richard, under the command of Captain John Paul Jones, successfully forced the surrender of the HMS Serapis near Flamborough Head in 1779. Though the Bonhomme Richard" was lost, it was one of the most important navel battles in the fight for American Independance from the British.
