Amazing Memorial Vase "Remembering Col. Elmer Ellsworth" circa 1861. Embossed design featuring the scene of the first death of the Civil War, as Ellsworth tries to remove a Confederate flag flying over local Tavern. The beloved Ellsworth's death was particularly painful to the President and Mrs. Lincoln as they looked upon Ellsworth as another son.
