After the great light mood from the last blog entry weakened, we enjoyed for a moment the silence of the mountains and started our descent to the alpine hut where we planed to overnight. During the dusk we had to be even more carefully while we climbed the steep path down. Every step had to be on the spot, otherwise it might have unpleasant consequences. This is the rise of the full moon at 2600m above sea level. When we came back from shooting the sunset at Lake Stellisee, we realized that the moon was rising directly behind the Fluhalp. Last summer I visited the area of Alpstein with the aim of photographing the alpine ibex. Equipped with a heavy backpack I had to hike quite a long distance with several steep parts to get to the colony of the ibex.
