And it's a wrap! Our bees are slowing going to sleep until mid-avril. Depending on the weather, most bees, like bumblebees and other insects, will take a vacation and hibernate as soon as the temperature drops below 10°-12°. They'll find a shelter and slow down their metabolism sharply, hoping to have enough reserves and a mild winter to survive for six months. Every summer, he goes up to his Alpine farm on Eggli mountain with his herd of 12 cows & goat so they can enjoy the grass of higher altitudes.
