Pygmy Tarsier
The Philippine tarsier or mawmag is a species of tarsier endemic to the Philippines. It measures only about 8.5-16 cm in height and 80–160 g making it one of the smallest primates. The eyes are fixed in its skull and its round head can rotate 180 degrees. The huge eyes provide this nocturnal animal with excellent night vision; the ear allows to hear any movement. Its diet consists of live insects, small crustaceans, and small vertebrates such as small lizards and birds.
